LSSC MEANWHILE was all about bad ideas
by Nathan'ette Burdine: March 17, 2019

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s (LSSC) segment, "MEANWHILE", was all about bad ideas.

Bad ideas like the Democrats having their convention in a city like Milwaukee that can’t accommodate it, FedEx 10lbs delivery robot, penis cameras, and a female goat named Lincoln who took a number two on her first day as mayor in a small Vermont town.

Here is what ol’ Stephen there had to say about all of these bad ideas. First, Stephen Colbert's take on the Democratic Convention being held in Milwaukee:

“If they do run out of rooms, congratulations to whatever
Milwaukee resident gets to have Bernie Sanders crash on to their
     couch.”  And here's Stephen's take on FedEx's 10lb delivery
robot.  “Teenagers will definitely not ride it like a Galapagos
tortoise while spray painting pictures of penises on it…
MEANWHILE, it will be missed.” The penis camera-"MEANWHILE in
just terrible idea news a British company introduced a wearable
penis camera…I assume to record nothing because once you
reveal you’re wearing a penis camera, you’re definitely not having
sex. Last but not least, ol' Stephen's take on the goat mayor
named Lincoln who loves to take number twos-“She committed
her first official act as mayor by defecating on the floor.”

I know there are those of you who are asking, “Why did they do all of that stuff knowing it was wrong from the get go?!”

Welp, that’s why they did it because they didn’t’ know it was wrong. There are just some people who are prone to do wrong. They can’t help it. It’s how they were made. Parents, sometime they don’t do their children justice. But, that’s another story.

The sadness in all of this, however, is there are people around who know these people shouldn’t be doing the things they do. Yet, they let them do it for some reason.

Well, sometimes the hard way is the only way folks can learn.
